It is no secret to anyone that a good pair of trail-running shoes is defined by the quality of its outsole, and the Terrex AX3 Mid are no exception. With an outsole built entirely of the now-legendary, durable Continental™ rubber compound, the AX3 Mid have an excellent traction that keeps going on and on even on wet conditions. A reinforced TPU toecap protects the forefoot area from rocks and tripping injuries.
On the midsole, a thick EVA layer joins a molded sockliner in providing strong cushioning and comfort to each step. To complement its excellent performance, a synthetic mesh upper with various TPU reinforcements includes a GORE-TEX® membrane to give waterproofing capabilities to the AX3 Mid and increase protection against cold and elements.
