The adidas Terrex Swift R3 Mid GORE-TEX® hiking boots are ready to put your feet on the gas, reassuring why this name is revered by professional hikers globally. Although at first glance they keep the previous edition’s silhouette, these boots hide several improvements that make them the fastest in this series.
The Lightstrike midsole is lighter and more technical than ever in the Terrex Swift R3 Mid GTX, with an extra-soft cushioning that will keep you leading the pack at all times. For added midfoot stability, adidas’ new Pro-Moderator sole cage hugs the plantar arch to protect your feet during longer hikes. Meanwhile, the legendary Continental™ compound rubber outsole gets an almost split design for greater flexibility and improved traction over rocks, mud, and wet ground thanks to its 4.5mm-thick wedge-shaped lugs. A Rock plate protects your feet from accidents and missteps.
The Terrex Swift R3 Mid GTX’s upper is made from a highly breathable and durable textile mesh that employs heat-sealed reinforcements for maximum support. An enlarged heel counter increases multi-directional stability, while a speed lacing system - joined by a mid-cut heel collar - improves midfoot grip. A GORE-TEX® layer brings a considerable degree of waterproofing to the upper. You can look at the map as many times as you want before you step foot on the trail.
